“100 keychains चाहिए”—पहली बार सुनकर बड़ी opportunity लग सकती है। लेकिन नाम सौ अलग हैं या सभी पर एक logo? Colour एक है या कई? Rings और packing शामिल हैं? इन सवालों के बिना quantity सिर्फ एक नंबर है।
यह guide छोटा batch plan करने के लिए है। किसी minimum investment, monthly income या निश्चित production speed का दावा नहीं किया गया है।
100 एक जैसी units और 100 अलग names अलग jobs हैं
पहले order को parts में तोड़ें: base design, text variants, printed body, ring/hardware, finishing, individual packing और shipping। Logo या character हो तो उपयोग की permission जांचें। Customer की “internet से ले लीजिए” वाली बात को अपने-आप commercial permission न मानें।
एक approved master sample और names की final list रखें। Spelling, capitalization और special characters साफ करें। Customer list में version/date हो तो बदलते messages से बेहतर record बनता है।

Actual sample और actual dimensions के बिना केवल render approve करवाना customer को जरूरी finish information नहीं देगा। अगर sample और final batch के process अलग हैं, वह भी बताएं।
Capacity की calculation अनुमान से शुरू हो, promise से नहीं
मान लें एक trial plate से 12 acceptable pieces बने और machine run 4 घंटे रहा। 100 pieces के लिए आठ plates पर्याप्त नहीं होंगी: 8 × 12 = 96। कम से कम नौ plates की planning लगेगी, फिर quality rejects और rework का असर अलग देखना होगा।
इन hypothetical numbers में 9 × 4 = 36 machine-hours हैं। इसका अर्थ 36 घंटे बाद dispatch नहीं है। Setup, colour changes, inspection, rings लगाना, packing, pauses और बाकी commitments भी calendar में आते हैं। अपनी machine को हर घंटे उपलब्ध मानकर deadline न बेचें।
Bulk price में क्या बदलता है?
Repeatable setup से कुछ काम batch में हो सकता है, लेकिन हर अलग नाम की checking बनी रहती है। Rate तय करते समय design/setup और repeat costs अलग लिखें। एक unit के gift-pricing example को देखकर ही पूरी batch पर discount न लगाएं।
बड़े order के लिए sample stage, approved list, final quantity, total scope और delivery estimate लिखित रूप में confirm करें। Payment और cancellation terms अपनी प्रकाशित policy तथा applicable requirements के अनुरूप रखें। यह workflow legal terms का substitute नहीं है।
क्या ज्यादा quantity हमेशा आसान order है?
नहीं। बहुत सारे variants, short deadline और complex packing काम बढ़ा सकते हैं।
कौन-सा design पहले test करें?
वही जिसका intended use, readability और hardware आप sample में जांच सकें। सिर्फ trend देखकर character/logo design न उठाएं।
अगर sample outsource करना है तो STL brief checklist के साथ custom quote मांगें। Quantity और deadline दोनों स्पष्ट लिखें।
